Since a young age, I knew I wanted to be a biologist, even before I fully understood what it meant. I just felt a deep, natural connection with the world around me. Throughout my life, I've found myself torn between pursuing a scientific career and embracing my artistic side, especially my love for photography and visual storytelling.

After earning two degrees in college and spending a few years working in a research lab and as a science communicator — where I sharpened my multitasking abilities — I finally found the right moment to focus on what I know and love best.

The name LANJESSCAPE comes from combining my name with “landscape,” symbolizing how I see the world as a canvas of endless possibilities. It’s about finding my sense of belonging in every scene I capture, immersing myself in the moment and bringing out the essence of what’s in front of me. Through my lens, I connect with the world and tell its story in a way that feels true to me.
